Junior Day Camp Staff

Kathleen Reilly - Director. Kathi has worked at the Bronxville Day Camp since 1999 .  She is a high school Special Education teacher in the Eastchester School district.  She started as a Group teacher and has been the Director of the Junior Day Camp since 2002.  Since Kathi was originally an elementary school teacher, she looks forward to pure joy and enthusiasm that the preschool campers bring into her days in the summer.

Ms. Gerri DeSilva - – Arts and Crafts Teacher - Gerri  has been the Arts & Crafts teacher since 1987.  During the school year, Gerri is a Preschool Supervisor/ Volunteer Coordinator at the Ossining Children's Center, where she has worked for 17 years.  After all her years at camp, she still gets excited when she can return to Bronxville to share her creative hands-on projects with the campers.
Gianna Cozzali - Teacher - Gianna has been a Group Teacher at the Bronxville Day Camp since 1995, with a few summers off to have her two daughters, Alexis and Sienna.  Gianna has been at the Cottle School in Tuckahoe for the last 13 years, where she is currently teaching the third grade.  Gianna enthusiastically brings her love of  performance and creativity to our oldest group of campers each summer.
Mary Ellen Barbieri - – Music Specialist - MaryEllen has been singing her heart out at the Bronxville Day Camp since 2001.  Maryellen currently works at Musical Munchkins. We are delighted that she carves out a niche in her schedule to return with her guitar to infuse our camp with music.  As you enter the building in the summer, you can always hear the enthusiasm of the campers as they join her in song.
Monica Gerkin - Teacher - Monica has been a Group Teacher at the Bronxville Day Camp since 20002.  Monica has been on the faculty of the Horace Mann School for the past 16 years where she currently teaches first grade.  Monica works with the youngest of our campers.  As a mother and grandmother, Monica provides a nurturing yet structured  environment that makes for a comfortable and engaging experience for these youngest campers.
Kim Regan - Teacher - Kim has been a teacher at the Bronxville Camp since 2003.  Kim is a veteran of the camp.  When she was young, she attended the camp.  Kim then returned to work as a counselor, and now as a teacher.  Kim is currently teaching the first grade at PS 56 in the Bronx, where she has been since 2005.  Kim infuses fun into the daily camp routines with her obvious love of the Bronxville Day Camp her infectious laugh
Diane Mitchell - Teacher - Diane has been a Group Teacher at the Bronxville Day Camp since 2002.  Diane, who has been teaching for 20 years,  is currently a kindergarten teacher at the Cottle School in Tuckahoe.  Diane has a love of teaching and travel and  her wealth of experience makes for an enriched and exciting days for the  young campers.

The professional staff is assisted by a group high school and / or college age students.
